My name is Karen Cloonan and I am a kindergarten teacher at Brownville-Glen Park Elementary. I have taught at General Brown for the past 24 years and 22 of those years have been in kindergarten. There is NEVER a dull moment and I still enjoy the excitement on my students' faces as they enter my room each day.
I grew up in Watertown and graduated from Immaculate Heart Central High School. I continued my education at JCC and then eventually received my degree in elementary education from SUNY Potsdam. I live in the village of Brownville with my husband, three children, and three cats.
