• Additional instructional materials available

As the statewide school closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic is currently scheduled to last through May 15, General Brown Central School District teachers have gathered additional instructional materials for their students.

Below is information on how materials may be accessed.

    Junior-Senior High School

Materials will be shared on the district website and on teachers' online platforms, such as Google Classroom or Castle Learning. They do not need to be printed.

In order to limit person-to-person contact, families should only pick up work if they do not have reliable access to the internet and/or devices.

Materials can be picked up on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28, at any of the school meal distribution sites, including:

    • Jr.-Sr. High School cafeteria; 9:30-11:30 a.m.,
    • North Pole Fire Hall; 10:30-11:30 a.m.,
    • Glen Park Fire Hall; 10:30-11:30 a.m., or
    • Pillar Point Fire Hall; 10:30-11:30 a.m.

If you need to pick up work, please email ndonaldson@gblions.org with your child's name and the location where you will pick up their work. There will not be any drop-in times; parents and guardians must contact the school with your child's name so the work can be gathered ahead of time.

If you are unable to pick the work up, please email ndonaldson@gblions.org so other arrangements can be made. Please call the school at 315-779-2300, option 1, with any questions.

    Dexter Elementary School

Second-grade will be receiving a two-page packet so second-grade parents with access to email or the district website may not need to pick up a packet. Teachers will be emailing families the packet in addition to uploading it to their Google Classrooms or other class communication platforms, if used.

Hard-copy packets will be available in the Dexter Elementary lobby from 9 a.m. to noon and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28. The lobby door nearest the main office will be open and only one person at a time should enter the lobby.
