13 educators welcomed to GB community

  • General Brown Central School District is welcoming 13 new educators to the district for the 2021-22 school year.

On Wednesday, the district hosted an orientation for the 12 new teachers and one new administrator. This was a time to learn about the district's mission and Strategic Plan 2019-2022, review the daily operations and expectations, meet their mentors, complete new employee paperwork, and have a district tour on a school bus. The tour ended at Lickety Split in the Village of Dexter, which was a great way to learn the community and even see some students.

“We are honored to welcome this group into to our Lion Community, and we look forward to their positive influence in our school district,” Superintendent Barbara J. Case said.
