The ACT (No Writing) is made up of four timed multiple choice tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science. The ACT Plus Writing Test includes the four timed multiple choice exams plus a timed writing test. Some colleges require the Writing test; others do not. Students take the whole test in one day.
Students who wish to take the ACT with testing accommodations cannot register online or complete the registration folder found in the guidance office.
The disability documentation from the district and the student's test registration and test payment paperwork for the ACT has to be mailed to the ACT Special Testing Department all together in one envelope.
The ACT need to have the completed Request for ACT Testing Accommodations at least 4-6 weeks before the date you'd like to take the test so they can process the paperwork, seek any additional information/clarification from me, and make arrangements for test security and implementation with the district.
