General Brown Jr-Sr High School Guidance DepartmentWelcome! As the school counselors for students here at General Brown Jr. Sr.High School we work with both students and parents in academic and career planning. This includes high school Graduation Requirements, types of diplomas, scheduling courses, assisting in preparing students for NYS and local assessements, communication between teachers, and families, career awareness, and post-secondary planning. In addition, we assist students with managing social/emotional issues. This support occurs individually, or in small groups to include social skills, coping skills development, and peer mediation. A student assistance counselor is also available at General Brown Junior-Senior High School.
