•  A Message from the Principal:

    Dear Brownville-Glen Park Elementary Families,

We welcomed the first week of March by celebrating Dr. Seuss week.  Students and staff enjoyed fun themes each day and our school wide door decorating contest was a big hit!

This school year has been challenging for students, staff, and families.  Our students have had to endure and grow throughout an incredibly challenging time for everyone due to the global pandemic.  It is time to recognize the perseverance shown by everyone during this time!

No student has ever before had to go to a completely remote setting to receive their education.  This school year has been a mix of both remote and hybrid learning.  This has resulted in a tremendous adjustment of curriculum, teaching methods, assessment and reporting.  Teachers and staff have shown how far they can make learning fun and supportive of social-emotional development during this school year.

Parents, guardians and other relatives/friends now have taken the third super hero title.  Never before have we seen the necessity for each student's home to be such a central hub for each student's learning.  Without your support, we would not be able to see the growth in our students.

Change is hard for everyone, but with change comes growth.  We have all grown out of our previous comfort zones in order to meet the needs of our children.  This has resulted in us learning and growing more.

Be proud of your children, be proud of our BGP teachers and staff, and be proud of the adjustments you have made as parents to best meet the needs of our children.

Spring Break will begin Friday, April 2nd and run through Monday, April 12th.  We will see everyone back on Tuesday, April 13th.

    Sunflower
