•  A Message from the Principal:

    Dear Brownville-Glen Park Elementary Families,

As the end of the year is upon us, please be sure to check our monthly calendar and District website for important end of year updates.  We are excited to have our playground open; our students have been enjoying outdoor recess.  We also have been enjoying having art and music back in the classrooms as well.

It will be a busy final month of school and we want to make sure you are aware of some important dates.

June 8th for team A and June 11th for team B our 4th graders will be taking the NYS Science Test.

June 8th and June 11th will be GB Blue and Gold Spirit Days and students are encouraged to wear blue and gold for those 2 days.

June 22nd will be the last day and a 1/2 day for team A and dismissal will begin at 11:10am.  Also chromebooks for team A will need to be turned in that day for team A students.

June 23rd will be 6th grade promotion ceremony and will be a drive up ceremony.

June 24th will be the last day and a 1/2 day for team B and dismissal will begin at 11:10am.  Also chromebooks for team B will need to be turned in that day for team B students.

Report cards will be sent home with students on those last days of school.  Remote student report cards will be mailed.

Our PTO has purchased popsicles for some of the warmer days in June; teachers will also incoporate some additional outdoor fun for students during the month.

I want to end by thanking my secretary, our teachers, teacher aides, bus drivers, school nurse, social worker, custodians, cafeteria staff, parents/guardians and day care providers.  It has been a very unique year and everyone had to make sacrifices and alternative plans for us to successfully complete this school year.

I have truly enjoyed working with your children this school year at Brownville-Glen Park elementary.  My first year as principal of Brownville-Glen Park elementary has been fantastic due to the students, staff and families.  I look forward to our end of the year activities and even more so to welcoming our students back in September.

We hope everyone enjoys their summer break!
