District Food Services expands meal pickup to cover weekends

Beginning January 13, the District will offer free meals to all students to cover every day of the week.

For fully-remote students, this means families will be able to pick up seven days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches during the weekly pickup between 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the school location of their choice, which will be arranged at the time of ordering. Students attending the hybrid model also will be able to pick up the extra meals (now five days’ worth of meals) at this time.

Funding for the extra meals is made possible by the district’s participation in the USDA’s school feeding program, which is slated to run through at least June 30.
