Survey aims to address broadband issues in county
The COVID-19 pandemic has magnified the need for strong Internet connectivity in people’s homes as students are learning remotely. Jefferson County officials recognize that there are areas in the county that are unserved or underserved. In an effort to improve broadband access in Jefferson County, residents and businesses are asked to participate in a survey to help determine the needs and opportunities for broadband in the county.
Jefferson County is working with the Development Authority of the North Country to conduct the survey, which will help the Development Authority move forward with its efforts to expand broadband access in the county.
