A Message from the Principal:

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As the end of the year is quickly approaching, please be sure to check our monthly calendar, district website and Parent Square for important end of the year updates. June will be a busy month and we don’t want you to miss anything!

There is no school on Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

Kindergarten promotion will be Monday, June 23rd in our gymnasium.

-Mrs. Babcock, Mrs. Jones & Mrs. Parker will be 9:30 – 10:00 am

-Mrs. Pacini & Mrs. Youngs will be 10:30 – 11:00 am

Seating will be accessible 15 minutes prior to the start of each program. Bleacher seating will be available, but please be mindful of the number of attendees.

Pre-K’s last day will be Friday, June 20th.

We still have full days on Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th and also a half day on Wednesday, June 25th. Summer vacation officially starts on Thursday, June 26th for students!

In the coming weeks our students will be attending field trips and outdoor activities. Please remember to apply sunscreen before your child comes to school. That sun is going to get hot as we near the end of June!

I want to end by thanking all teachers, staff and parents of Dexter Elementary! I enjoy working with all of you to provide a safe and enriching environment for students to learn and grow. Have a safe and enjoyable summer and we look forward to kicking off the school year with you in September!!!!
